Now, as Brookshire's permanent CEO, LeClair will continue to oversee the company's retail operations, category management, marketing, fuel, pharmacy, logistics, and facilities services teams, as stated in the announcement.

LeClair's career has been entirely in the grocery industry. Before joining Brookshire, he held senior leadership positions at Giant Eagle and Harris Teeter, according to the announcement. He began his career at Albertsons, rising from a courtesy clerk to regional manager.

Brookshire is a family-owned grocer that currently operates more than 215 stores across Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma, and has three distribution centers.
